Everything you
need to know.

Operational Hours:

We are open 7:00am-7:00pm Monday-Friday and 9:00am-3:00pm on Saturday for daycare and boarding pickups and drop offs. (Time might slightly differ for other services such as grooming and training.) Sundays we are open 10:00am-2:00pm for boarding pickups and drop offs only. Only members are permitted to come for daycare on Sundays. ** Holiday hours may vary**.

Late Pickups:

Dog owners that arrive to pick up after closing will be charged a convenience fee, starting at $8.00 for one hour, and $12.00 for two hours. If we do not hear from you within the hour after closing, your dog will be considered as boarding for the evening and can be picked up the following morning. Overnight boarding charges will apply accordingly.

Early Drop offs:

Owners may drop off prior to opening for a convenience fee, beginning at $8.00 for one hour prior, and $12.00 for two hours prior. Early drop offs are by appointment only, appointments must be made at least one day before.

Collars & Leashes:

It is mandatory that all dogs wear our breakaway collar during their time here with us. Dogs tend to use their mouths while playing and a breakaway collar ensures your dog’s safety at all times. ALL DOGS MUST ARRIVE AND LEAVE ON LEASHES. Dogs are permitted to come in with leashes and collars from home, such items will be tagged and stored accordingly in their designated area during your dog’s visit.

Unaltered Dogs:

All dogs over the age of 6 months MUST be spayed or neutered to participate in group play. Any dog unaltered is still allowed to use our facility and services, however, they will participate in private care. Private care is our equally stimulating one-on-one care for dogs that cannot go into group play for any reason.

Behavior Traits:

We accept dogs of all breeds and don’t discriminate against temperaments. All dogs are required to take a temperament test upon joining our facility so we can gain insight on the dog’s personality. From there, the dog is placed into categories of play accordingly. If a dog is dog aggressive, we prefer to be told up front so we can automatically prepare the dog for private care. It’s up to the owner’s discretion on whether or not they think their dog is even qualified to take a temperament test. We expect owners to verify that their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behaviors. We do not allow dogs into group play if they show any signs of aggression as a precaution to everyone’s safety.

Excessive Misbehavior:

In order to maintain a safe play environment for the dogs, any dog that misbehaves will be given a time-out from the daycare area. Any misbehavior, such as excessive barking or “zoomies”, can escalate the intensity of the pack and cause an extremely chaotic environment for the dogs. We reserve the right to use training aides such as “pet corrector”, water sprayers, or even air horns if we feel is necessary. If your dog is displaying aggressive behavior, or is misbehaving while at daycare, we will notify you and give a conduct report at pick-up to ensure you are aware of your dog’s daily activity while in our care. Dog Activity World has the right to refuse service to any dog that can be harmful to our staff or pose a dangerous threat to our facility.

Health Requirements:

It is our main priority that all dogs attending our facility are absolutely healthy and safe to be around others. If your dog is showing any signs of sickness with no known reasoning, like diarrhea or is vomiting, please DO NOT bring your dog to our facility. We take utmost pride in knowing that all dogs entering our facility are healthy and do not have the capability of passing on viruses. Please take your dog to your vet or our preferred vet for a screening to make sure that your dog isn’t sick. If your dog goes to the vet and they treat him/her for a communicable condition, the dog will not be permitted to return until a veterinary certificate of good health can be presented. If your dog displays any sign of illness during their stay with us, he/she will be removed from the group and will not be able to socialize with the other dogs until this problem has been resolved. ***All dogs also must remain current on the Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccinations and always have a current fecal examination. You must also have flea and tick treatment for your dog while using our facility as we don’t want any sort of issue to spread.

Authorized Persons for Pick-Up:

If someone other than yourself is picking up your dog(s), that person must be listed on your registration form as authorized to pick-up. You can add and remove people from your authorized pick up list at anytime. Just get in contact with the front desk. ID will be required by the person picking up for verification before staff can release your dog. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Dirty Dogs:

Our staff is trained to efficiently clean up after all the dogs in our care. If we noticed a dog is more than just a little bit dirty before going home from daycare, we will call you and recommend a quick bath before you pick up that day. Otherwise, dogs get a little dirty from contact with other dogs. Saliva from their mouths and dirt from their paws while playing are passed to and from one another. We strive to keep our facility immaculate so there is less dirt to come into contact with. We genuinely care about the well being of your dog including their personal hygiene.

Medication:

We are happy to administer any and all medications such as oral, topical, and even injectables. Our staff is highly trained and prepared for all health conditions your dog may have. Please come in with the actual prescribed bottle or container the medication came in when bringing it in to our facility. Upon your arrival, please go over the dosage and administration instructions with the front desk so they can make proper notes into the system. Otherwise, you can enter the stuff in our system online with Gingr prior to your arrival. When you do arrive, the front desk will just go over the information that you entered to make sure that it is absolutely accurate, as there are no room for mistakes with medication. We will also take a proper count of the amount of medication that are in any container upon your arrival to ensure accuracy. WE DO NOT CHARGE FOR ADMINISTERING MEDICATION. After all, it is not your dog’s fault they have a need for medication.

Cancellation Policies:

Any scheduled boarding with less than 48 hours notice will be charged a $35.00 fee, per dog. We require a 40% non refundable deposit when the boarding reservation is made (a card is also required to keep on file while boarding, no exceptions). Any scheduled service canceled with a deposit will become an account credit that can be used towards any of our services here at Dog Activity World.

Risks:

Clients must be aware that dogs can be unpredictable and have primitive instincts. Dogs can obtain scratches and marks from just playful contact and that it is inevitable. We do everything in our power to ensure that safety comes first and that all dogs will go home happy and healthy.

Public Dog Park:

We are ecstatic to be able to provide a safe and happy environment for the public to use as an indoor dog park. Anyone using the public dog park must abide by our rules and understand that it is solely the owner’s responsibility to watch over their dog at all times. We will have an extra staff member nearby for emergency purposes but not for supervision purposes. Dog Activity World has the right to ask anyone using our dog park to leave if they do not follow our rules, or if their dog shows any signs of aggression or behavioral issues.

Exit Baths:

Dogs boarding with us for 3 or more days are required an exit bath before pick up. Prices vary on size and fur length but are greatly discounted compared to regular baths.
